Angie Peluse Joins College Track as Chief of Regions

Angie most recently led a multi-million dollar system implementation at Teach For America (TFA), focusing on supporting the fundraising efforts of TFA's 53 regions.  During her time at TFA, Angie also led teams devoted to regional fundraising support and analytics and local partnerships. Prior to Teach for America, Angie led program and innovation at Peer Health Exchange, was a strategy consultant in the Educational Practice of the Parthenon Group, and has also been a Division I Swim Coach and a high school teacher.

She is passionate about joining College Track for two reasons. First, she loves working with multi-site educationally focused organizations that are thinking about scale, and getting the opportunity to be close to the work with kids. Second, she knows how critical it is for young people to attain a college degree, and what it takes to get someone there, which includes: a combination of incredible academics; wrap-around services and supports; and a lot of love and dedication by those who support the students.  Angie received her AB degree from Harvard College, magna cum laude in Women's Studies and History. She also received a EdM from Harvard University, where she received a scholarship for those committed to public service.

Most recently, Jonathan served as Director of National Honor Societies at the National Association of Secondary School Principals, managing all program implementations for 2 million students, as well as professional development for more than 26,000 educators across the organization. Kennan Scott Is Juiced to Open His Own School

Kennan Scott is a civil engineer turned teacher with aspirations to someday open his own school. As a Northeastern graduate who spent over ten years in transportation engineering, Scott was ultimately encouraged to enter the classroom by his mother, a 31-year veteran teacher of New York Public Schools. Currently teaching Intro to Computer Science at West Oakland Middle School, Scott always knew he wanted to make a greater impact in his community.

Talking about DEI: A Recruiter's Perspective

Edgility Celebrates Another Hire!

We’re excited to announce that Solomon Howard has joined the East Oakland Boxing Association (EOBA) as their new Executive Director! Edgility Consulting is thrilled to support this emerging leader and impactful organization in a community that has so much potential to thrive.

This search was especially relevant to the Edgility team because of how unique the neighborhood’s challenges are, as well as the creative manner in which the organization addresses them. For instance, 16% of the city’s youth live in extreme poverty, but the median household incomes are 20% lower in East Oakland. The severity creates a particularly urgent challenge for service organizations like the East Oakland Boxing Association.

Thankfully, the organization approaches their community’s needs in a creative and comprehensive manner. Some of EOBA’s services include access to on-site organic gardens, youth leadership programs through internships, and health/wellness programming for students of all ages. The tenacious staff have crafted its reputation as a community staple since the organization’s inception in the 1980’s, and are committed to helping Mr. Howard’s transition.

Mr. Howard brings experience from the Latin American Youth Center, Uber, and ENJOY Technology. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Corcoran School of the Arts and a Master’s degree from George Washington University.
