Cynthia Jerez-Martinez joins Mission Prep with over 10 years of experience in educational leadership. She received her Masters in Educational Administration from University of Massachusetts, and has most recently served in leadership at Summit Public Schools and currently pursuing additional graduate studies at San Francisco State University.
Born in Dominican Republic, Jerez-Martinez moved to Boston where she completed High School, College, and Graduate Studies. She relocated to the West Coast in 2019, in hopes of leading in a community focused on empowering our students through personalized learning and rigorous academic opportunities.

In this role, Jerez-Martinez will lead the vision and implementation of Mission Prep’s rigorous K-8 instructional program and support all members of this diverse community with cultural competence and an emphasis on equity and inclusion.
