Ben is passionate about working with organizations to build equitable compensation and talent structures that advance the change they wish to see in the world. He believes that our shared work towards social justice must be firmly rooted in economic justice, starting with inclusive and equitable compensation structures for all employees. More recently, he served as a Director at EdFuel, leading end-to-end talent consulting engagements with school systems and nonprofit organizations across the country. At EdFuel, Ben developed new techniques to benchmark employee compensation for “hard to fit” roles, analyze equity trends by employee demographic, and implement new compensation structures that are more equitable, transparent, and efficient. He also published a step-by-step guide for talent professionals and school leaders on conducting pay equity audits at their own organizations. Ben holds a BA in English and MA in Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies (POLS) from Stanford University. He lives in Bozeman, MT with his wife Kate and young son Roman. Christina’s path to working at an impactful organization like Edgility has been a little different. Her career started in the entertainment industry producing concerts in Salt Lake City, UT where she served as an executive assistant and event manager for large scale live events, eventually moving to Los Angeles and coordinating national and international tours for one of the largest concert promoters in the world. When she wasn’t working or at a concert, she spent a lot of time volunteering at non-profit organizations such as International Rescue Committee, Planned Parenthood Association of Utah and Hollywood Food Coalition. Through her volunteer experiences, she realized her career interests in project management, systems and operations could be put to better and more meaningful use at a mission-driven organization. In the Spring of 2021, after relocating to Central Washington with her husband Kevin, she finally took the leap out of the music industry to work with special projects at Edgility and is proud to have joined a team that works toward developing diverse, inclusive and equitable workplaces every day. Christina graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Radio, Television and Film. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, visiting national parks and eating yummy food. Although she no longer works in entertainment, her love for music and pop culture in general endures. If she’s not out on an adventure, she’s probably curled up at home binging a tv show, watching a movie or listening to some new music.
