When reflecting on her experience with Edgility, Ashley noted, “Connection and creativity are what I believe in most about education and leadership. Edgility’s thorough process helped me highlight both of these during my candidacy experience with them. I’m incredibly grateful!”
Ashley is thrilled to be joining the EBIA team as the Lower School Principal. Committed to progressive education, she has a strong passion for, and expertise in, Project Based Learning.
Ashley began her career in Project Based Learning charter schools, including High Tech High located in San Diego, CA. She has taught all grades at the secondary level; primarily Humanities & Social Justice courses. For the past two years, Ashley has been the Assistant Principal of Alameda High School, and she has led initiatives in anti-bias & equity work, disproportionality in special education, and curriculum design & instruction. Alongside her Administrative Services Credential, Ashley holds a Master’s degree in School Leadership from the University of San Diego and a graduate certificate in Universal Design for Learning.
Ashley is excited to call EBIA her home away from home. When she is not working, you can find her near the ocean, listening to music, and relaxing with her family.
