Originally from Sacramento, California, Rodolfo’s family is from Jalisco, Mexico and The City of Mexico (CDMX). He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis and his Master of Science in Education and Administration from Johns Hopkins University.
Rodolfo started his career as an International Baccalaureate Spanish Teacher and was a School Administrator at a large public high school in Washington DC. He spent the last 4 years serving the Sobrante Park community in East Oakland as an Assistant Principal for both Middle and High School. While there he was instrumental in significantly improving the school’s graduation rate and A-G eligibility. He also brings extensive professional development and coaching experience, and successful design and launch of a linked learning pathway.
Rodolfo loves to travel, and has been to Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Costa Rica. He speaks 3 languages and also loves cooking.
