Edgility Consulting is excited to announce the placement of William Cardenas as the Director of the Summer Math and Science Honors Program at SMASH.

In this role, Cardenas will be responsible for the operational success of the SMASH Academy program. He will ensure strategic team management, project execution, and quality control and evaluation.

William worked as the Director of Local Engagement with GreatSchools. GreatSchools is the nation’s leading website for parents. The site provides K12 school data and parenting resources. He led the planning, implementation, and launch of three GreatSchools programs (Atlanta, SF Bay Area, and Colorado). These programs aim to provide socioeconomically diverse families access to online tools, improving their knowledge of high-quality K12 schools. William was also the founding Director of Operations for a KIPP charter school in the South Bronx, NY. Further, he directed and managed an annual operating budget of $8M. In addition, he created an operational growth system, facilitating yearly expansion from 200 students and 20 staff to 500 students and 60 staff.
